Batik design Ocean themed – Art for Sustainability

In this project, I created a batik design inspired by the beauty of the ocean, carrying a powerful message about the importance of protecting our seas and marine life. The theme was developed as part of a Reduce, Reuse, Recycle campaign, highlighting growing concerns about waste and its harmful impact on underwater ecosystems. Through intricate patterns and meaningful motifs, the design not only celebrates cultural artistry but also serves as a visual reminder of our shared responsibility to care for nature. The artwork has been carefully translated onto fabric and produced into wearable clothing, bed sheets, pillowcases, and other lifestyle items, turning each piece into both a functional product and a statement of awareness. This project reflects my passion for combining creativity, sustainability, and advocacy, transforming traditional batik into a medium that educates, inspires, and encourages people to take action for the environment.
